DaWanda is a market place where you can buy and sell unique, customised and handmade products made by talented people. It is also a community where you can get and give inspiration and feedback, interact with others, exchange your ideas with people who share the same hobby or passion as you and much more. DaWanda is about people and their products: it is a place where you can discover original and quality products as well as the people who have a passion to create and to share their creations and where you can contribute by sharing your ideas and what you like and by giving inspiration.

On DaWanda you can buy quality and original products directly from the producers. If you are creating stuff as a professional, an artist, as an individual in your spare time or as part of a small (family) business or if you are offering tailor-made and customisable products you can create your own shop on DaWanda and sell your products. As a registered user or seller you can also interact with other members of the platform, give comments, rate products, exchange ideas with people who have the same passion as you and participate in forums. You can always search or browse for products, discover the people behind the products, read their blogs and profiles.

You can either browse for products by exploring the categories or by following tags or you can search directly for products by entering a keyword.

At DaWanda both users and sellers can create a profile. On your profile you can upload a picture of yourself, tell something about yourself, store the products and people you love or want to share with others, create your own journal and upload pictures, e.g. you and the products you bought, and many more.

DaWanda is a place to make new friends as there are lots of people who have the same hobby or passion as you or love similar things. Simply add a user to your pinboard to make him part of your friends list.

On your pinboard you can store everything you like. You can use your pinboard as a wish list, or to store your favorite products and people. To see what is on your pinboard simply go to My DaWanda and select My Pinboard from the sub navigation.

At DaWanda we want everybody to participate. Even if you’re not buying or selling you can contribute by leaving comments to people’s products or profiles. Tell them if and what you like about their creations. Why should you do that? Because we all like compliments ;-)

On DaWanda you can communicate with all other members, users and sellers. You can send messages, post comments to items, blog entries and peoples’ profiles and you can participate in the forums. In order to communicate with others we ask you to register first.

Before being able to buy stuff or to communicate with others we ask you to register first. We ask you to indicate your user name, a valid email address and a password. We then send a confirmation email to the address you indicated and ask you to click on the link so that we can be sure your email address is valid. Please choose your user name carefully, as for security reasons you cannot change it later.

If you want to sell on DaWanda you first need to complete the standard registration as described above. We then ask you for the following information: your first and last name, your address and your payment details. After that you can start to create your shop and to list your items. To create a shop you need a shop title, description of your shop and the payment methods you accept. After that you can start listing your items.

If you didn’t receive a confirmation email please verify on the website if the spelling of your email address is correct. If it isn’t you can correct the spelling and we then send another email to the address indicated. If the spelling is correct but you still do not receive an email please check the Spam folder of your email provider or send us an email.

If you cannot remember your password please follow the link “Forgotten Password?". We will then ask you to indicate the email address which you used for registration and will send your password to your email address.

For security reasons you cannot change your user name on DaWanda. As all major online market places DaWanda has a feedback system where buyers and sellers rate each to make buying and selling more transparent and secure. Before purchasing an item from a seller or shipping an item to a user you can look at their feedback score to find out if you are dealing with a reliable and faithful person or if there have been problems in the past. As the feedback system is related to user names it is not possible to change user names later.

If you want to unsubscribe from DaWanda please send us an email indicating your user name and email address you used for registration. We will then delete your account.

DaWanda sends you a notification email each time one of your items is sold, you purchase an item or you receive a new message or comment. You can also choose to receive SMS notifications. We send a monthly newsletter which gives you a good insight into new features, updates and other information that might be interesting for you. You can edit the settings for these notifications and the newsletter in your profile.

DaWanda is an online market place where buyers and sellers are dealing directly with each other. In order to make shopping an enjoyable and secure experience we verify sellers and have established a feedback system where buyers and sellers give each other feedback about the shopping process. Before purchasing an item from a seller or shipping an item to a user you can look at the feedback score to find out if you are dealing with a reliable and faithful person or if there have been problems in the past. When you buy or sell an item it is therefore important that you leave a short comment saying if you are satisfied with the product you received, the shipping, payment, etc.

Please notify us if you have encountered a problem either in buying or selling something or if somebody is annoying you by leaving comments or sending messages that do not correspond to DaWanda’s principles. We will then work on resolving the issue quickly.
