We're delighted to present Summer 2012 edition of the DaWanda Lovebook. We call our lookbook the ‘Lovebook’ because every product you find inside it was created with lots of love.
DaWanda continues to grow and prosper. Since December 2006, our online marketplace has offered independent designers and crafters a platform from which to sell their handmade creations across the whole of Europe. What started five years ago with an attempt to make matryoshkas by hand has turned into a company with 80 employees from nine different countries, not to mention the office dog.
We’re so pleased to be growing in step with a community of like-minded individuals, who are turning the current passion for handmade gifts into something much more than just a trend. These days, DaWanda has around 1.6 million members, with more people joining daily.
In the past year, members have given over 1.3 million ‘hearts’ to their favourite products. Every hearted item is the result of an interesting idea and a unique personality. From handcarved longboards by LavishLongboards to sea urchin rings by StaroftheEast, not to mention vintage fabric tablet cases by Osix or laser-cut candelabras by PapelCouture: just four lovely things from the 2 million plus to be found at DaWanda.
We wish you a sun-drenched summer, and we hope you have lots of fun discovering our ‘Products with Love’!
