I was born in Providence, R.I., and received a B.A. in Fine Arts from American University in Washington, D.C. where I was trained as a silk-screen artist. Silk screening is a challenging craft that involves intricate layering of separately-printed and colored design elements.
In 1992 I launched THREE RING CIRCUITS (3RC), a jewelry and accessory line of Recycled Circuit Board "geekery" products that use recycled PCBs (printed circuit boards) and "found objects".
This line of recycled Circuit Board products has also achieved national prominence. Some designs are whimsical, some are strictly geometric, but all are examples of unique handmade jewelry and decorative and useful home or office products.
The jewelry and home and office products -clipboards, keychains, magnets, bookmarks, picture frames,sun catchers and clocks are definitely conversation makers!
THREE RING CIRCUITS (3RC) has been featured in museum shops, including those at the Smithsonian Institution Air and Space Museum and the Boston Computer museum, as well as many galleries and boutiques across the U.S. and Canada that sell fashion accessories. This line is also now being sold in Europe with great success!

You'll never see another bookmark like these I bet! I've used the inner layers that make up a circuit board and laminated them.( Although my photograph shows the bookmark with a tassle, in the future, to be able to keep my cost down to what it is now, the boomarks will not come with tassles.)
Because an inner layer is so thin, these bookmarks are very flexible but also incredibly strong as they're made from fiberglass.
The patterns are just incredible as are the colors. You will see copper and sometimes actually gold in some of these bookmarks. These make awesome gifts for anyone who is an avid reader or for the computer geek!
As with all my recycled circuit board jewelry and green office products, I'm trying to help keep discarded computers out of landfills and create "technology as art." The picture shows the various patterns that I can make the bookmarks out of but I unfortunately can't guarantee which pattern I'll have when you order. The price you see is for two bookmarks.
