Product description

The focal point of this romantic necklace is the vintage porcelain cameo with a pastoral scene reminiscent of a Gainsboro painting. It features in minute detail a scene of young lovers in stylized 18th century dress making garlands in a grassy field.

* Pendant *
The cameo is nestled in a cabochon-like setting crocheted by hand with 2% real gold thread. The cameo is ringed in rows of vintage glass seed pearls, and vintage glass seed beads worked into the crocheted setting. The top of the pendant is a rainbow of irridescent rhinestones and glass pearls from a vintage jewelry component, and cascading beneath the cameo are drops of large vintage glass pearls, pink freshwater pearls, Swarovksi crystal and beautiful vintage rhinestone drops. This eye-catching pendant is 3.25" from the top of the rhinestone rainbow to the bottom of the longest drop, and is suspended from a hand-linked chain.

* Chain *
Each link is meticulously wrapped by hand with 14k gold-filled wire and vintage glass pearls, pink freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals, and amazonite. It measures approx 15.5"

* Clasp *
The chain is finished off with a large vermeil toggle clasp and a dainty drop with a vintage glass pearl, pink freshwater pearl and small lavender Swarovski crystal.

* Finishing *
The back of the pendant is finished of with a small oval of vintage black velvet. The piece is signed by the artist with a hand-embroidered label.
