A whale of love!

Can't you just tell by the expression on the little guys face? Love whales make excellent gifts for those people in your life you'd be drowning in an ocean of sorrow without. If you'd like, I can make a set that are facing each other. Friendship whales!
How can you carry on without one?
Anyhow, each and every love whale is colored a lovely opaque white with a painstakingly hand applied black dot for an eye and a flame red heart. The edges are a little burnt and oxidized, resulting from the firing process, and adds interest to the piece. Love whales are about 3 inches long and is the same color white on the back. The sterling silver chain is 15 inches long (so the length is 18 inches with the whale) and was chosen to compliment this piece perfectly, lovely and delicate looking, with a spring ring clasp. All jump rings are soldered for extra strength.

**PLEASE NOTE! Your LOVE WHALE may be facing the opposite direction from the one in the picture. If you have a preference on which way it's facing, just let me know!**

I hand make every item in my shop. Enameling is an ancient art that involves firing powdered glass and metals at high temperatures to fuse them together. All of my pieces are completely waterproof and very sturdy, however please handle them with the care you would give any fine jewelry.

Most pieces are made to order, so please allow 1-2 days before I ship your item. Due to the exciting and fickle nature of enamels and fire, there may be slight variations from the piece in the photos, but I try as hard as I can to stick to the original design.
