Who would have thought it possible to capture the heavenly scent of lemon poppyseed in a bar of soap? This luxurious blend of oils and nutrients has it, and more! Each bar of two-toned soap is made with a sprinkling of poppyseeds as an exfoliant, and a splash of rich lemon fragrance oil. This scent is mouth-watering and invigorating.

Made with quality vegetable oils and the best of ingredients, this soap is vegan-friendly, beautifully colored, and a great all-around cleanser.

You’ll receive one 3 1/2-4 oz. bar of this refreshingly-scented Lemon Poppyseed Olive Oil soap.

Ingredients: Olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, sodium hydroxide, distilled water, fragrance oil, poppyseeds, grapefruit seed extract (natural preservative), colorant.

This soap was created using the cold process soap making method. That means it’s been made through a slow process (takes many weeks) in which vegetable fats are combined with sodium hydroxide to create soap. The sodium hydroxide (also known as lye) breaks down the fats in the oil and leaves behind a perfectly pH'ed bar of soap.

(For the other science geeks out there, this is great chemistry! In a nutshell, the basic lye reacts with the acidic fat to create the salt we know more commonly as "soap." Water does it's job as the Universal Solvent in the reaction, and saponification takes place while the solution is mixed.)

Olive oil has been used for thousands of years to moisturize and perfect the skin. It does this by naturally attracting external moisture from the air and preventing your skin from moisture loss—all this while keeping your skin “breathable.” It is a great natural moisturizer and won’t disrupt the natural functions of your skin, such as sweating and shedding dead skin layers. The coconut oil (in combination with the palm and olive oil) provides a rich, lasting foamy lather that is soft and lush. The palm oil insures a hard, long-lasting bar. It’s gently scented with rich lemon fragrance, and is sprinkled with poppyseeds for color and texture. Each bar is perfectly cut (truly by hand), and was made with love by my own two hands.
