Product description
An original oil painting from May 2006. It's painted on primed card, rather than canvas, resulting in a notably different style to usual. The brushstrokes are rich and vivid, especially on the dark red blanket that the male model is resting on, more expressive than some of my other life paintings. The model has quite a toned physique, with a somewhat swarthy look about him, and the colours work well together. The painting has been given a gloss varnish and is shipped flat. Oils on primed board, 365mm x 365mm (14.4" x 14.4")
