Hi! I'm melissakate and I love making colorful, useful stuff. I hand print all the cards in my shop from blocks hand carved by me. My cards are printed on eco-friendly paper and come with 100% recycled envelopes!

Product description

The lotus flower is representative of creation and cosmic renewal. It also represents purity as its flowers grow on long stalks, which are rooted in the mud. It is symbolic of detachment as drops of water easily slide off its petals.

This linocut was designed, drawn, carved and printed by me - Melissa Kate McMurtrie. I hand paint the petals and leaves before printing.

The image measures approximately 5" x 7" (17.8cm x 24cm) and is printed on 7" x 9" Bristol Board. Both the ink and paper are acid-free and archival quality.

This print will arrive signed, dated and numbered. It will ship encased in a cellophane sleeve with cardboard backing for protection against the bends.
