This is an original painting done with traditional Chinese brush painting techniques on white double xuan paper (rice paper).

The process of Chinese brush painting is part of my daily meditation. It allows me to focus and to spread positive energy into the universe.

This painting captures a rocky mountain landscape in the Szechuan province, China. The fascinating rock formations and cliffs are dotted with cypress trees and wild plant growth as a little path winds its way through the natural landscape.

Painting is double mounted using traditional wet mount methods). It has been nicely matted with bright white Crescent mat board, foam core, and an acid-free bag.

This painting is also signed with my artist's name chop (An Rui Ning) and my mood chop (the oval stamp, which reads: Arriving at the Tao is not Difficult.
