Pendant Opal from Peru in silver - Barbara's BijouxThis lovely opal comes from the Andes mountains in Peru and is enhanced by the silver mounting and the graceful bail. These opals exist in delicate opaque pink or blue-green colors. The pendant measures 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 cms or 1 1/4 x 2 inches and the back of the pendant is open to show the lovely colors of the stone. It can be worn with a chain or narrow neck collar, such as the one pictured, which is sold separately on my site. Properties of opals are creativity, spontaneity, relationships, memory, happy dreams and changes. It is the birthstone for October. Opals can be useful in treating general stomach problems.
