Millinery For Femmes Fatales

Product description

Crepes Suzette - a dark and dainty dish, fit for the fin de siècle. A natural for the naughty nineties (1890s, that is) with a nod to the flirty fourties.

A ripple of thick watered grosgrain ribbon runs over a handformed circular buckram base. Trimmed with a duo of Edwardian style chrysanthemums, formed from knotted jet black satin ribbon and trimmed with pewter seed beads. A branch of rich black velvet leaves finishes the confection.

Shaped to sit safely at a sly slant due to the two part buckram base (with it's flash of red tafetta lining) and elastic back band.

An original KissCurl design. Hand sewn in the UK with attention to detail.
