This listing is for a 7-page PDF pattern with 7 pictures and row-for-row instructions on how to make a bat called Phoebe.
Knitting Phoebe involves only basic stitches. The knitting is done both flat and in the round, with the stitches knit, purl, slip stitch over, increase and knit 2 together.
Note that the images here are of a bat with crocheted eyes - the pattern includes instructions for how to make them, but they can also be embroidered if you prefer not to crochet.
You will need:
- 4 or 5 double-pointed needles (I use size 4 mm - US 5-6 - UK 8)
- yarn that fits your needles: black the main parts, red for the bow, plus a little bit of pink and white for the details
- stuffing
- embroidery needle
I make Phoebe about 12 cm (4.75 in) tall (not counting the ears), but note that size will depend on the yarn and needles you use.
The pattern will be sent to your email address within 24 hours of confirmed payment. The pattern is in PDF format, so you will need for example Adobe Reader to open it. Adobe Reader can be downloaded at:

If you have any questions about the pattern, feel free to send me an email.
This pattern is for personal and non-commercial use only. I sell the finished bat in my shops and I'd rather not compete with my own design.
