This is a lovely and humble mobile... when I lived in Philadelphia - one of my favorite things to do was go to the Art Museum Sunday mornings (its free then!) and sit on the staircase inside and gaze at the gigantic Alexander Calder mobile. I am captivated by the soaring arches he used in this particular piece, and I was tempted to make some sort of small mobile that used arches like this.

Then I read this Zen reading in my Oshu Zen Tarot... it was about the idea of Letting Go... dew drops on lotus leaves in the early morning...

In this mobile the arches are symbolic for the curve of leaves and the little raindrops symbolize this idea of letting go.

This mobile is meant to be a constant beautiful reminder to let go – remember as you gaze at the beautiful movements and glitters of the glass droplets , just as you would when you were a baby looking at your crib mobile - remember those innocent moments, like a dew drop on a lotus leaf. Remember to let go and your life will thank you.
