We have little bluebirds that nest in a nesting box at our home. This necklace is inspired by them. Fingers crossed they'll be back again this spring....
The nesting box is hand sculpted in fine silver and shows the "wood grain" and rustic look of a nesting box that you might find on an old fence post. The charm of the piece however is that this is a hinge on the top and whne you lift that, you will see the Mrs Bluebird has laid three little silver eggs. They are nestled (and fixed) in a knitted copper wire nest.

The nesting box is approximately 4 cm tall by 2cm wide by 1 cm deep. It is supplied on a 45 cm or 50 cm sterling silver chain.
