50s USA Thermoset Earclips turquoise gold - EveryDress

Beautiful 1950s Thermoset Earclips from USA.

COLOUR: turquoise, gold

SHAPE: abstact leaves

CONDITION: Good, just minor discolouration of the gold on the front (see pictures) but major discolouration on the back.

THE STORY:
Thermoset is a phenolic plastic with high chemical resistance especially against heat. It`s oldes type is bakelite. Thermoset jewellery was very famous in the 50s and 60s in USA and is highly collectable.
