A romantic layered long skirt inspired from Chinese ink and wash painting technique. Fixed waist with pleated detail around thigh, very flattering and visually slimming. Inner layer in black cotton is longer and larger than the outer layer, which forms a perfect transition of the gradient indigo brush painting on the hem of the outer layer. Outer layer is made with pleated 55% linen 45% cotton blend crepe in natural beige. Draping in a beautiful peculiar way, soft and durable, we especially order to made this textile. The earthy and specially textured pleats won’t be washed away and it will be more obvious after laundry. The beige color is the natural hue of the fabric, doesn’t need to through dying process, so it is very eco-friendly and good to health. It is one of our favorite fabrics of strong character, very idea2lifestyle. The brush work is hand painted with two acrylic colors and diluted with water to get subtle gradient abstract graphics borrowing the technique of ancient Chinese ink and wash painting. It won’t fade, for first few times laundry, we suggest to hand wash in cold water without washing powder, no scrubbing on the painting part; then it can be gentle machine washed. Drawing strings with one un-painted wood bead and two hand-painted porcelain Pandora beads. With the drawing strings you may adjust the pleats and shape of the skirt, proud idea which make this skirt very flattering and unique and hasn’t been used by any other brands yet to my knowledge.
