Cotton japanese kimono yukata fabric aubergine - Great TextilesThis piece of fabric is from an unused bolt of cotton that was designed for a yukata (summer kimono) some time during the last 30 years - probably 90s. It is printed in rows of dusky pink sakura blossoms, some outlined in white, on a really appealing pale shade of aubergine (eggplant purple) background. It is a reasonably light weight cotton like a poplin. 100% pure cotton. Condition: Vintage, never used, well-kept for decades. Every 1m, there may be a dye line running horizontally across the bolt where the pale aubergine background is a little darker - about 2-5 mm wide - not on every metre though. Approximate length: 1m or 39.4 inches.
