Product description
This is a calm colour pastel piece of a reclining female model, drawn in Edinburgh, September 2007. The model is shown from the waist up, lying flat with one arm behind her head, perfectly relaxed and probably asleep. It's a gentle, soothing image, with the colours of the model contrasting with the soft blue and pink tones surrounding her. The drawing was made using professional-grade soft pastels on lightly tinted textured pastel paper and has been sprayed with fixative to prevent any smudging in handling or transit. Soft pastels on textured pastel paper, 29 cm x 21.7 cm (11.4" x 8.5")
