Title: Together
from my Lotus Series
Original Chinese Brush Painting by Ren Adams
Media: Hand-ground traditional inks, chip color, and watercolor on white rice paper. Double mounted.
Scroll size: 16 1/2" x 17"
A family of lotus blossoms enjoys the time they share together.
This original painting was done with hand-ground inks, Chinese chunk yellow (and blue), and watercolors on white rice paper (which contains mulberry fibers).
I signed the painting with my name chop (An Rui Ning; the square stamp) and with my mood chop: Arriving at the Tao is not difficult).
This scroll-shaped painting is double mounted, using wet mounting techniques. It can be displayed as is or it can be framed, matted, etc.
This painting has been professionally matted by a local framer. She used a double mat (white on the outside, black on the inside) and secured it with acid-free foam board on the back. Wrapped in a protective, archival plastic bag for safe keeping until framed (or you can display it as is).
This is an original work.
