Vintage 1966 Sarah Coventry Bird of Paradise Br... - Absolutely fabulous!A dazzling Aurora Borealis rhinestone paved rodhium brooch. This piece, made in the Sixties by Sarah Coventry and signed Sarah Cov, it is known as "Bird of Paradise". Absolutely fabulous! The entire bird is encrusted with sparkling and shimmering Aurora Borealis rhinestones that reflect all the colors in the rainbow. A really stunning pin! This piece was never sold to the public; it was exclusively reserved as a hostess item and could only be bought with hostess points. Circa 1966. You can use this marvelous brooch in a special occasion or on a day when you simply want to dress up with a dazzling brilliance. A book piece you can find on page 125 of the 2009 edition of "Classic American Jewlery" by Jacqueline Rehmann.
