A bright yellow butterfly brooch.
The British butterfly species "Brimstone" (Gonepteryx rhamni), named after its sulpher-coloured wings.

Totally handstitched, with embroidered and appliqued detailing and a pinback fastener securely stitched to the reverse. It measures approx 2 inches (5.5cm) across at its widest point.

Please note that though this brooch has been made from the same pattern and materials as the brooch pictured it may vary in small details because I am a human girl and not a brooch-making machine!
