Monochrome has never been so incredibly spectacular. On the Rocks has it all - class, style, funk and shine. Dare to wear it with a tan, heads will turn! This bracelet has a distinct and marked glow to it, thanks to a perfect mix of matte opalescent white seed beads and transparent unlined aurora borealis finish seed beads in the band of the bracelet. The focal stone is completely transparent, and the bezel has been constructed in such a way as to leave the back of the cabochon uncovered, maximizing light to the stone. Tiny dark brown seed beads are integrated in the top of the bezel, otherwise made entirely of silver lined transparent beads, to emphasize the points where bezel meets rutiles
MEASUREMENTS:
The bracelet when open measures 18cm (7.09") excluding the clasp, and 17cm (6.7") closed. It is 4.3cm (1.7") wide including the rock crystal fringe.
The clasp of this bracelet is a fabulous Murano glass bead.
MATERIALS:
The materials used in the creation of On the Rocks are Rutilated Quartz, Rock Crystal, Tourmalated Quartz, Czech, Japanese, and German seed beads, German bugle beads, sterling silver, antique Czech foiled crystal beads
STONES:
The focal stone is an exceptional Rutilated Quartz, completely transparent and with some very interesting inclusions. The piece was photographed on a neutral background, and due to the transparency of all the stones used in its making, this shows up slightly in the photographs. The stones are all either completely transparent or predominantly transparent in the case of the focal stone.
The Rutilated Quartz measures 3.4cm (1.34") in length, and 2cm (0.79") in width.
The square stones at the sides of the focal are faceted Tourmalated Quartz, each measuring 10x10mm.
The chips lining the bracelet band top and bottom are Rock Crystal (quartz)
