Emma is a pattern that will suit many purposes. Its A-line cut flatters any figure, and it can be varied in a number of ways. Create a dress or tunic with a sailor collar or a decorative neckline border, long-sleeved, short-sleeved or sleeveless - you can adapt it to suit all seasons and fabrics. Choose romantic or playful, maritime, sporty-casual, use a colourful hippie-style patchwork fabric mix, lovely soft velvet or cosy boiled wool. Make it unique! The upper front and upper back each include two darts for a better fit. A hidden zipper is inserted in the side seam. However, you can leave out the zipper if you decide on a stretch fabric. If you like, trim the outer edges of the sailor collar with lace or with a woven trim to catch the eye. Please note: For sizes XS AND XL , I recommend using stretch fabric for the upper front and upper back to pull the garment on and off more easily.
