This handsome cockerel stands approximately 8 inches, 20 c.m. high from base to top of comb.

He has been made in some very rich coloured 100% cottons which were sewn together to make patchwork pieces. They were then quilted with polyester wadding and cotton backing fabric and hand sewn and tweaked into shape.

The base has a 3.5 inch, 8.5 c.m. zip fastening where you will find inside a bag to fill with rice, dried beans or gravel to give the weight to the doorstop.

I have not provided the rice etc. as that would have made the postage/shipping cost far too expensive.

The eyes are of the safety variety but obviously this does not mean very young children should be allowed to play with it unsupervised.

The cockeral is totally machine washable if he shoud meet with an accident as critters tend to do.

It's quite a pretty your hen...I also do some of this model but never think at it as a doorstop. Good ideea with that zipper on the bottom! Thanks. Keep on sewing!
