Wool blend japanese kimono fabric tsumugi - Great TextilesThis piece of fabric is from a vintage, unused bolt of wool blend fabric created for a japanese kimono during the late Showa era (1947-1989). This is a tsumugi weave of multi-coloured yarns interwoven to create a lovely textured look. The yarn colours are light blue, ivory, raspberry pink-red, black, dark brown, olive green with the occasional tiny slub of orange and lime green. The weave is fine and not fully opaque. It is a summer-weight breezy wool fabric. 70% wool
Condition: Never used, from a bolt of fabric that has been well-kept for decades. Length: 1m (39.4 inch)
