Native American Style Hand Drum Leaping Deer - Tipiman Drums and MoreThis painting of a deer in midair at twilight has captured a moment in time frozen forever. Every time I look at it I hold my breath waiting for him to hit the ground and it never happens. I painted this one a few years ago and have been reluctant to show it as I thought I might miss it when it was gone. I have come to the conclusion that it is time to let go. O well my loss, your gain. I have a friend that goes hunting quite often and he has related to me how many times, just at twilight, the deer seem to appear out of nowhere when he says its hard to get a shot at them in the low light. He says its as if they know its hard to make that shot and they are taughting him into missing. He, and a few others , have told me they have seen this painting in real life many times. I love it and I hope you will too. As you can see, the spirit of the deer still lives on ! ! !
