Product description

I started making Anne Ragg Sculptures in 1997. The sculptures came out of a set of drawings I made of a Raggedy Anne doll I was given when I was a child. Over time, I felt the dolls needed more space and I wanted to experiment with other media, so I began to make sculptures.

Each figure is about the size of a fist. The material is Sculpey Studio, a very sturdy polymer clay that is baked in the oven to harden. All my figures come with their own birth certificate (they are native New Yorkers).
