I am allergic to wool, will these affect my allergies? Although I do not know the extent of your sensitivity, I can say that through the processing and dying of the fibers I used, most allergens are minimal. Are they itchy? I try to use the top quality fiber around. The roughness of a wool sculpture really will depend on the material used. For the most part, no not itchy at all. In fact, some are quite soft. I refuse to use animal products. Do you cater to Vegans? Yes, I will try to help anyone who wants it. I have access to many plant based materials to give you the best sculpture I can. Email me with your concerns and what you want made. I will research your sculpture to see if I can get the materials needed. I will then order the material. On a side note, my area of production is thoroughly cleaned to make sure no chance of animal hair to be mixed with a vegan sculpture. What dyes do you use? Are they toxic? I used Jacquard Acid Dyes. Don't let the name fool you. You need citric acid to activate these dyes and white vinegar is all the acid you need. Sometime I will order wool that is dyed with Kool-Aid. I try to keep on top of what material I have and only use suppliers that I trust not to sell toxic material. Natural fibers are not dyed and White fibers are mostly sun bleached. Are your products from humane sources? I know this is a huge concern for most people. It is for me too. It would be sad to support an inhumane farm. I do get most of my material of the internet. I do try to find if their animals are well-treated, but unless I actually go to the farm, it would be impossible to know. But rest assured, if I found one of my suppliers being inhumane, they will not be a supplier. Can you show me how to make those? Sure! I would love to teach you a few things. Email me for questions. Can I get any customization I want? Yes. I will do anything that I can do. If I can't do something for you, I will most certianly refer you to a felter who will. Do you do any size of sculpture? Yes. I will make any size sculpture you like. Email me for a quote. Do you use any wire skeletons? I have used them and I will if they are requested. For the most part, most of my creations are not with skeletons. I want to make a memorial of my pet. Can you make the sculpture around my pet's hair or ashes? I can if Customs laws allow animal ashes to be mailed across borders. In Canada, I would have to check if animal ashes can be mailed across provinces. Since all my sculptures are made with animal hair, there is no problem with the hair. Animal hair that is to be mailed to me must be flea and tick free and cleaned before shipping. Ashes, if allowed, must be properly bagged within the package. Any items that are not handled properly will be sent back. Any extra material will be sent back too. Do you keep the pictures I send you? I do keep pictures for a few months after you get your sculpture. Some people will request another sculpture of their pets and it just saves time if I already have the pictures. Will you publish my sculpture on your site? I won't if you tell me not to. But this site is basically my portfolio. I will use your sculpture as an example of my work, but it will not be duplicated exactly. I can never copy a sculpture. Each will be slightly different. Will you publish my pictures on your site? I will always ask you before your pictures are used on my site. If you do not want me to use them, I won't. But I will not publish anything without your knowledge. Also, if there are people along with the pets, the people will be cropped out to the best of my ability. Otherwise, I will ask if you have a picture with your pet alone. Will you publish my name on your site? No. I will not publish any contact or personal information on this site. If you leave your name on my testimonial page by accident, just know that leaving your name on that page will make it public knowledge. No names or personal information will be attached to listing or examples of my work without expressed permission. I love your work. Can I share your site with my friends and family? By all means!
