Description
A particularly nice original pastel-on-black drawing from a few years back. It shows a standing male model, leaning against a support behind, using highlights to suggest form and tone. This drawing was produced using professional Conté soft pastels on grey-black sugar paper. The paper doesn't have the texture of dedicated pastel paper, letting the bright colours shine out just that bit more, looking good both close-up and from a distance. Although currently offered unmounted and unframed, this would look great framed and up on a wall. The piece has been sprayed with fixative spray to prevent any smudging in transit or during handling.
Conté soft pastels on paper, 38cm x 57cm (15" x 22.4")
