Coral Pouch Recycled Cloth Labels.
Flea collection.
These are one-of-a-kind pouches, I wouldn’t be able to make a second like this even if I wanted to.
I make these purses with cloth labels that I save from clothes! I found myself collecting them out in a box because I thought that I should be able to create something with them… it seemed to me a waste to trash some “beauties”, real small pieces of art in cloth label form. You can find well known brands among them!
This is how I started making my flea pouches: I began to pack them by size, color and cloth material, then select some of them according to my daily inspiration and finally make a cloth label puzzle on my craft table. Then add a few unique charms (a pin here, a button there, some lace…), add sewing, a nice fabric lining and zip. A flea label pouch is born.

Why “flea”? Because they remind me that flea market stuff we buy without knowing exactly what we are going to do with them when we get home…and when we put them together…viola…magic happens, flea market magic!
