No cages for these birds! They are “free as a bird” and fly nicely around your neck from the ear threads.
If you are not familiar with ear threads, the post goes through the hole in your ear, and then some of the chain goes through too - so some chain hangs on the back and some at the front. The last photo shows that you can slide a small stopper on and up behind your ear to keep them in place. They are really comfortable earrings and the movement you get from the birds is just delightful. Time to spread your wings?
The birds are hand sculpted in fine silver. The actual pair you get may vary slightly from those shown here as each little bird is different.
The birds are approximately 2 cm long and 1 cm tall. The chain + post is 8cm, so when worn the length to the bottom of the bird is 4.5cm (if
the chain is equal front and back). I can shorten the chain if you want or have longer box chains if you prefer.
