Bring back the unparalleled splendour of the Victorian era with this luxurious and versatile shawl. This piece is made from a valance curtain which adds movement in the arms with its undulating hem. The pattern on the polyester fabric is evenly balanced on either side as it drapes smoothly around the body. The inside is lined with sateen fabric and is soft and elegant to touch. Details of the shawl include golden tassel trimmings, a crème frog closure, one white handmade closure on the upper right hand side and an inside button for fastening. I also attached a vintage beaded rope to use as a tie. The rope itself is from the 1970's it was my grandmothers, so this piece is special.

This shawl is made to be versatile; it can be worn tied in the front and loose for a casual look or closed on the upper right hand side and fitted to give a more formal appeal
(perfect for weddings!) The length of the shawl measures 54 1/2" from end to end and can fit comfortably up to a medium size build.
