Serendipity Postcard Set - Flying FlySerendipity is the faculty of making fortunate discoveries while looking for something else, or the moment of making this discovery. Etymologically it comes from the old Persian fairy tale called The Three Princes of Serendip. A lot of scientific discoveries and inventions were made due to serendipity as for example penicillin, first electric battery and even Newton’s theory of gravitation. This word is very rare for the Russian language but sounds so nice that we decided to choose it for making this set of 18 postcards drawn by 9 Russian girl-illustrators. Printed by Print-o-holic. Set of 18 postcards. Limited edition of 500 hand numbered copies.
