An original nice long Conté pastel drawing of a male model, with particular attention paid to the upper torso. I feel the colours are just right (inevitably lost a little from the photo of the piece) and work well with the pale grey-green pastel paper, while there's a strong sense of form both in the tones of the face & arms and the white highlights catching the side of the figure. By not smudging the colour into the paper, the drawing makes the most of the texture and tone of the paper.
The drawing itself measures about 500mm x 300mm, while the sheet of textured pastel paper it's on measures 670 x 490mm, so it's ripe for the cropping. You could choose to crop around the figure or focus on the detailed upper torso/face - as long as you appreciate it, I'm happy! Ships rolled up & fully sprayed with fixative to prevent any smudging in transit or handling.

Yes, I am smitten!
