My great passion is knitting (& create jewelry & also painting), almost an obsession, that became a part of my life since my younger days. Still today, the (often astonished) reactions of others make me smile when I “confess” being a passionated knitter. Many people still associate this handcraft together with “granny style”, “eco” or similar nice and kind imaginations … I sincerely hope that my knitting artworks (?) will have their share that this point of view is changed one day. Knitting is everything but “old fashioned”, something exciting, unique, sensual and creative. This starts with the design, the manufacturing process and of course most of all the purpose the individual pieces were made for : simply wearing them. All my knitted and crochet pieces are entirely handcrafted by myself and I’m always chasing after new and extraordinary designs.
