Description
This photo was taken in the garden of a Ryokan in Kyoto.
Zōri are the most practical form of footwear in Japan - a culture where shoes are constantly removed and put back on. The way these zōri were placed on the stone suggests an owner keen on precision, perfecting the art of simple and timeless composition.
This photograph is part of the 'Dentō' series which means 'tradition' in japanese.
This limited edition is printed on professional photographic paper and signed on the back. The watermark appears only on this example and not on the actual print.
Dimensions: 11.5" x 8.3" (29.5cm x 21cm)
Please contact me if you wish the photograph to be printed in different sizes. Also poster dimensions are possible.
