Handmade Soap Anise/Liquorice (large) - michiko

Anise smells almost exactly like liquorice, and so does this black slice of soap.
On the skin however, the anise oil develops a spicy-sweet scent with a nice side effect: it masks and neutralizes body odor.
Hunters use this trick to sneak up on unsuspecting deer. But if you, like me, do not condone the practice of sneaking up on unarmed deer, be assured: a little anise also improves the air at the office or the gym.

The black colour comes from charcoal by the way, which has a deep cleansing effect beneficial to oily skin.
