Description
This shot was taken in my favorite place Tofino. This crow lives amongst towering Sitka Spruce and endures wild winter storms in one of the lushest and wettest places in the Canada.
This work was created using a mixture of photography and encaustic wax techniques. The photo is layered with bee's wax and accented with oil paint giving it depth. It is painted on wood and measures 3"X4"x1".
This painting would work well on a mantel or display shelf or as part of an art grouping. It is also perfect for those small walls in your house that your full sized art pieces won't work on.
