Description
In order to create the Lac de Montbel in SW France, the trees were cut down and the area flooded. Subsequent erosion of the stumps has left bizarre roots and has resulted in the creation of a unique and fascinating landscape when the lake is dry during the autumn and winter. Collected dead root from the bed of the dry lake have been used to create this stunning shelf, which is toppped with reclaimed plywood.
The shelf works well either as a bedside table or a quirky shelf for kitchen bits and pieces. Equally it would look stunning in a garden, yard or on a terrace used as a plant shelf, as by it's very nature it is relatively weatherproof.
