This is one of my geometric patterned scarves. I had to do a project for screen printing and designed many tessellated patterns, then having only to use one of them, so I decided to paint all the others on silk!
This one is grey, white and pale red. It’s gutta outlined and then filled with colour. Then it’s steam fixed for ever lasting shiny colours and soft as ever silk. The silk I painted on is a 55 cm. (21 inch) hand rolled square ponge 5 scarf. This size is ideal for a tie at the neck.
This scarf is one of a kind!

*I try my hardest to get the colours pictured as they really are, but they may vary slightly.
*Wash gently in cool water with mild soap and press while damp (sure you’ll do a better job than I did ;)

Este es uno de mis pañuelos geométricos. Tuve que hacer un proyecto de serigrafía y diseñé muchos motivos, luego pudiendo sólo usar uno de ellos así que decidí pintar el resto en seda. Este es gris, rojo claro y blanco. Está pintado con la técnica de la gutta y los colores van fijados a vapor por lo que no alteran el tacto de la seda y son permanentes. La seda que he pintado es un pañuelo cuadrado de 55 cm. de lado, ponge n.5 ideal para un nudito al cuello.
Este pañuelito es único!
