Handmade by Me. I thought for a long while about the colours for this. And I love Wisteria, so I decided on a gentle pale lavender sculptured chenille for one side and a rich violet crushed silky fabric, embroidered with petite silk flowers and leaves, for the reverse side. The trim at either end is a stunning deep, thick, two-tone purple vintage velvet.

I love having throws and quilts in the home! They can be swapped and moved around the house depending on the seasons - and the decor! Even if you have the luxury of central heating (which we don't:( but we do have three wonderful wood burners!) I defy anyone who can resist just sneakily pulling their throw or quilt over their legs or round their shoulders on a chilly evening - winter or summer!

This one measures 138cm x 61cm (approx 54" x 24"). It has been machine sewn and finished by hand.

It is quite weighty, and the contrast in the textures is lovely - soft and warm velvety fabric or smooth and silky.
