piano scarf

“piano scarf” is one in a new, ongoing series of photographs, "the catalogue of collected style," which showcases various vintage items i've picked up over the years.
a photographer friend gave this classic '80s scarf to me about 12 years ago when we were working together. he said he saw it and thought of me. i'm not sure if this is because i was working at the time as a fashion stylist and writer and he thought that i would wear it or that i would use it in photos.... i guess it doesn't matter since i've done both — many times.
