Finely Knitted Ladies' Gloves in Pink and Green - Nordic KnittersThis pattern comes from Saatse area, Old Setomaa historic region in nowaday Põlvamaa, Estonia. I call this pattern 'flowers on the stem'. Knitted with three colored yarn in traditional Estonian fair-isle style. Tightly knitted using 0-size needles and DK weight yarn, which is hand dyed. They are perfect to block wind and wear in winter. Beautiful lacy wrists add elegance. I have used colors which you can often find in Seto lace: a special crocheting technique using several contrasting colors like white, pink, green and purple. Using thin yarn makes the pair fit like a glove :) It is colorworked all the way to the fingertips, and that insulating layer of the second yarn running in behind adds extra potection in cold days.
