Children's Lyre, pentatonic, 7-string, unique - Johli Lyres

7-string lyre tuned pentatonic.
from left to right:
e'' d'' h'a'g'é'd
different mood to a limited extent.

A special instrument with an expressive sound.
Resonant cavity with very fine carved ornament.

Single piece!
No mass production.

From my small studio workshop.

Made from Sycamore. From raw wood to finished instruments worked out sculpturally with chisels and carving tools in hand. Hand sanded.
The surface was oiled and waxed several times.

The closed Resonazraum is the "construction" of lyres labor-intensive than the open form.

The beautiful sound and the related good resonance are worth the effort.

Beautiful clear sound.
supporting full sound.
The instrument speaks paint already on the most delicate strings.

An artistically crafted by an instrument that appeals to the senses: hearing, touching, seeing.

Adults have quite as much fun as kids.
Only light up the eyes of the children may have a more little when they hear the lyre and even play.

Delivery:
Supplied with a lyre, the tuning keys, bag and certificate.
You may also request to a tuner (approx. 25 €))

I'm building now and then also 12-string lyre.

Sound test by telephone.
