Antique Silver Plated 6 Fish Knives forks set Case - PORTUGUESE VINTAGE

This is for a beautiful cased set of 6 fish knives and forks.

The forks measure 6.5" -- 15 cm and the knives measure 7.25" --- 17 cm

They have a wonderful art nouveau handles decorated with an empire ribbon border and a central bow into branches and flowers etc. Each handle is stamped with a registered design pattern number RD547092

Each item is also stamped R&B for Roberts and Belk followed by a letter S, the logo oil lamp and some other letters.

The box interior is blue, I am not sure if it is original to the set or not. The box is quite battered on the outside. The latch still fastens shut and has been engraved.

The cutlery needs a polish and has small areas of usual plate wear.
