Hi! Here is Xylem!! I am a shoesmaker's daughter. My daddy is an experienced shoesmaker who has taken part in customized handmade shoes for more than 30 years. However, my dad is not good at English so I am his translator! I, Xylem, is responsible for the wording and the conversation/requst from customers. Each time, I have to ask my father for the answer in Chinese and I help to translate my dad's words into english as well as reply the conversation in english. Both my father & I do think that a good & classic craft should not be lost but should let more people around the world realize; however, sometimes, language may become a barrier. Conversation is the bridge between crafters and customers. Language plays an important role in the conversation. All shoes are handmade by my lovely dad!Each step is done by my gread dad, making a pair of shoes involve hundreds of steps which are time-consuming. We promise you will not be regret for waiting! It is worth! Trust me!!! BTW, I am a part-time fashion designer too~ I hope I can sell my own designs here soon! I hope all of you can enjoy the feeling of uniqueness and specialty of handmade shoes.
