Die Fertigung von gestickter Spitze in dreidimensionaler Struktur ist im Vergleich zu anderen flächig oder flach gebildeten Spitzen (Weben, Wirken, Rascheln, etc.) enorm aufwendig, im Vergleich zu Geweben um mehr als 30 mal teurer. Stickereispitze gehört bis heute zu den wertvollsten Veredlungsverfahren bei Textilien. Sie erwerben kein Massenprodukt, sondern ein in Deutschland in kleinen Auflagen besonders aufwendig gefertigtes Designerstück!
