Product description

Both decorative as well as functional, this handmade, wheel-thrown bowl features a beautiful crystalline glaze in shades of green, gold, and copper. The glaze requires a special firing in the kiln in order for the crystals to form...and you never know if you'll get crystals and how they will appear on your piece.

I made this on my pottery wheel out of gorgeous, durable porcelain clay, adding a swirl in the center as I finished up. The bowl will hold 16 cups of salad or other favorite dish and is 5" high x 12" across.

Although it's very durable and sturdy, I would recommend handwashing it since the alkalai in the dishwasher could affect the color and crystals over time.

Food-safe glaze.

Signed on the bottom rim.

I generally ship the same day I receive payment, and for most items I use USPS Priority Mail. My policy is to ship the fastest way possible for the amount of money I've collected. I double box and use lots of foam and protection for your pottery.
