This stylish and understated handmade card is perfect for just about any occasion.

Some say that the Firebird flies around giving hope to those who need it. Some say that when the firebird flies around his eyes sparkle and pearls fall from his beak onto the poor. In another version of the legend, a Tsar's sons catch one of his feathers that glows in the night. They take it in a dark room and it lights the room completely. The mystery of the feather has illuminated hearts of men for many years.

The Firebird is one of my original illustrations in aquarelle pencil and is printed onto very slightly off-white, slightly grainy heavyweight paper. The card measures 10.5 cms x 14cms or 4" x 5½" and comes with it's own matching envelope printed with a smaller firebird on the back.
