1940s JACK FROST Crochet Handbag PDF Pattern No. 4811

This pattern is for a very sophisticated Jack London crocheted handbag from the 1940s.

It requires a size 4 crochet hook and either cordet, soutache, ribbon braid or Kordette.

This pattern could be made with a variety of modern threads or with fingering or sport weight yarn, or with two strands of thread held together. The finished size of the handbag will depend on the thickness of thread or yarn used. You will need to change the size of your hook according to the thread or yarn weight you use, as well.
